Shah onWednesday hoisted the
nationalflagathisresidencehere
as part of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’
campaign and said the initiative
has become a people’s movement that strengthens the spirit of patriotism.
‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ is a campaign thatstartedunder theaegis
of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ to
encourage people to bring the
tricolour home and hoist it to
mark India’s Independence.
“Today, under the
#HarGharTiranga campaign, I
hoisted the tricolour at my residence,” Shah said in a post on
X in Hindi.

Sonal. The Home Minister said
the‘HarGharTiranga’campaign,
initiated under theleadership of
Prime Minister Narendra Modi,
has become a people’s movement that binds the nation with
the thread ofunity and strengthens the spirit of patriotism.
“Thiscampaigndemonstrates
that the 140 crore citizens of the
countryaredetermined todevelop and make the best of the free
India that countless freedom
fighters realised through their
sacrifice, penance and dedication,” he said.

the 79th Independence Day,
calling it a symbol of national
pride and gratitude towards
freedom fighters, revolutionaries and soldiers.
Deputy Chief Ministers
Keshav Prasad Maurya and
BrajeshPathak, alongwithseveral State dignitaries,
attended the event at
theKalidasMarghere,
which was launched
two days before
Independence Day.
Addressing the
gathering,Adityanath
said thecampaignwas
being organised in
response to Prime
Minister Narendra
Modi’s call to take the
messageofpatriotism
to every household.
“Our country is
completing 78 years
of Independence and
has entered the Amrit Kaal.
Every Indian should have a
sense of respect and devotion
towards the Constitution,
national symbols, great revolutionaries, and eminent personalities,” he said.
Over thepast 10years,under
the Prime Minister’s call, this
spirit of nationalism has been
reaching every home, and
through the Har Ghar Tiranga
campaign, we are seeing it
flourish, the CM added.

30,000 national
flags to Andaman

UNION Ministry of Culture
has sent more than 30,000
Tricolours to the Andaman
and Nicobar administration
for‘Tiranga Mahotsav’ in the
archipelago, officials said on
Wednesday.
Speaking to PTI, Chief
Secretary Chandra Bhushan
Kumar said, “The ‘Har Ghar
Tiranga’ festival aims to
ensure that every household
across the islands proudly
hoists the national flag and
becomes part of the collectivecelebrationofpatriotism.
I want to request all the
islanders and tourists to
become a part of this proud
moment.”
The flags, being sent
through the postal department, will be distributed
among households to ensure
greater participation by
islanders.
