Another rape case registered against drug peddler Yaseen

 

 

 

Another case of rape has been registered against Yaseen Ahmed alias Yaseen Machli, who was recently arrested in the State capital on charges of drug trafficking. A 29-year-old woman filed a complaint at MP Nagar Police Station on Friday, alleging that Yaseen sexually exploited her under the pretext of marriage. In her complaint to the police, the victim stated that she met Yaseen at a pub about a year ago. They became friends and exchanged mobile numbers. Following this, Yaseen invited the woman to meet him at a five-star hotel in MP Nagar, where he sexually assaulted her after promising marriage. He then continued to physically exploit her. The victim alleges that when she pressured Yaseen for marriage, he refused and assaulted her.

 

The accused also made videos of the assault. It is reported that after Yaseen’s arrest by the Crime Branch on drug trafficking charges, police recovered some videos from him showing women being assaulted. Based on these videos, the police identified the victim and provided her with counseling and filed the FIR. Prior to this, Yaseen Ahmed has had cases of sexual harassment and fraud registered against him at Mahila Thana (Women’s Police Station) and Arera Hills police station. He is also an accused in several other FIRs registered in Kohefiza, Arera Hills, MP Nagar and Mahila Thana. According to sources, the accused is expected to be produced in the court again and the police may seek his remand for interrogation in other cases as well.
