Commissioner of Railway Safety (CRS) Manoj Arora conducted commissioning of Jarkheda–Shampur section under Bhopal–Ramganj Mandi new railway line project on. Indian Railways remains committed to accelerating infrastructure development under its new project initiatives. In this direction, West Central Railway (WCR) is making continuous and fast-paced progress on critical infrastructure works such as new railway lines, doubling and tripling of tracks. Under close supervision of WCR General Manager Shobhana Bandopadhyay, key infrastructural projects are advancing swiftly. Bhopal–Ramganj Mandi Railway project spans 276 kilometers, including 175 km in Madhya Pradesh and 101 km in Rajasthan, with a total estimated cost of Rs 3,032 crore.
 
Till now, 168 kilometers of the project have been commissioned and are operational. Newly commissioned Jarkheda–Shampur section covers a length of 11 kilometers. CRS Arora conducted a thorough inspection of newly constructed railway line, including a detailed assessment of Jarkheda station yard. He then successfully carried out a high-speed trial run at 125 km/h on Jarkheda–Shampur section. During inspection, Yogendra Baghel, Additional Divisional Railway Manager, Bhopal, Vijay Pandey, Chief Project Manager, MS Hashmi, Chief Administrative Officer (Construction), Deputy Chief Engineer (Construction), Senior Divisional Signal and Telecom Engineer (Coordination), Senior Divisional Signal and Telecom Engineer, Senior Divisional Electrical Engineer (TRD), Senior Divisional Operations Manager, Senior Divisional Engineer (Central), along with other officials from the respective departments were present. Successful commissioning of this section marks a significant milestone in enhancing rail connectivity and boosting regional infrastructure.
