“Through Operation Sindoor, India exhibited its tech advancement, war strategies, matured foreign policy and the ability to do anything for its sovereignty. Foreign policy is not an ideology or philosophy or principal, it is always a policy which can change over time.”
“The Modi Government, with its bold foreign policy, set-up an aura of respect for India and Indians world-wide and this transformation of thoughts of other countries is a result of Government’s efforts over the last 10 years,” claimed Dr Vijay Chauthaiwale, In-charge, Foreign Affairs Department of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) here on Saturday.
Dr Chauthaiwale made this statement during a lecture session on “India’s Stroke of Diplomatic Genius - Operation Sindoor and Beyond” conducted by Prakash Rajurkar Memorial Trust at Kavi Kalidas Auditorium, Persistent Systems, IT Park.
“The Modi Government has put significant effort into changing the language of Indian foreign policy, setting aside terms and concepts inherited from the Congress era, and introducing new ones like ‘India First’ and ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’,” said Dr Chauthaiwale.
“Operation Sindoor is a perfect epitome of India’s capabilities and maturity. Through this short war, India cleared four points to the world that India has all rights of self defence - Our war is not with any country or army, but it is against terrorism; The issue is a pure bilateral issue and no other country should interfere; and with this operation we crushed the nuclear blackmail of Pakistan,” he added.
“Though this war, India exhibited its technological advancement, war strategies, matured foreign policy and India can do anything for its sovereignty” explained Dr Chauthaiwale.
While talking about India’s changed foreign policy in Modi era, the speaker said, “Foreign policy is not an ideology or philosophy or principal, it is always a policy which can change time to time.
During Congress Government, the policy was to give chance to our enemy as we do not want war, but now the policy changed and Modi Government follows the policy
where we will not leave our enemies if they implant terrorism here.”
Talking about the latest United States of America (USA) and India’s tariff war, he said, “USA imposed tariff on us but India is not going to compromise and the Government is working on this challenge. USA want to dominate our agriculture and dairy sector but Indian Government can not degrade our farmers for this tariff war.”
