The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) conducted the NEET-PG (Postgraduate) Examination 2025 at single shift from 9 am to 12.30 pm on Sunday. Over 1,000 medical graduates from all over Chhattisgarh appeared at this examination in their allotted examination centers across capital Raipur, Bhilai-Durg and Bilaspur. This is largest computer-based exam in India in terms of number of candidates which has been conducted in a single shift after NEET-UG exam.

It may be mentioned here that, earlier, National Medical Commission (NMC) and NBEMS have planned to conduct this examination in two shifts on June 15. But due to protest of students and Supreme Court of India to conduct this examination in single shift, NBEMS has postponed the examination and now organized this prestigious examination to get admission into postgraduate medical courses on Sunday in two shifts. In the examination, the board has made arrangements to ensure the safe, smooth and secure conduct of NEET-PG 2025 exam to restore the faith of medical graduates in the examination system. For the smooth process of the examination, NBEMS had engaged faculty members from government medical colleges in state to appraise the conduct of the examination and zero tolerance towards use of unfair means. In fact, to prevent any kind of cyber scam at examination centers, NBEMS took assistance from Indian Cybercrime Coordination Centre (14C), Union Ministry of Home Affairs.

The mobile signals at all test centers were blocked by installing adequate number of mobile signal jammers. Meanwhile, for medical graduates who appeared in NEET-PG 2025 exam, the overall difficulty level of question paper was easy to moderate. Dr Reena Sharma and Dr Aniz Khan, NEET-PG candidates said that majority of the question were clinical based on case studies. Many questions were asked from previous question papers. Most of the questions in the papers were covered from Pharmacology, Gynecology, Optho and Surgery. This year, the board will declare the results of NEET-PG 2025 on and before September 3.
