A case of burglary that took place within the Beltarodi Police Station limits on August 4 was successfully cracked within just 12 hours by the Beltarodi Police Station cops.
The case was registered following a complaint that thieves had broken the shutter lock of an automobile shop and stolen items worth Rs 72,396. Initially, the identity of the accused was unknown. Through confidential information and technical analysis, the police traced and arrested Santosh Pandit Gaikwad (25), a resident of Kaikadi Nagar, who was already on the crime record.
Along with Santosh, a juvenile in conflict with law, was also found to be involved in the theft. Police successfully recovered 100% of the stolen property.
Under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone 4) Rashmita Rao, ACP Ajni Division Narendra Hiware, the arrest was made by Senior Police Inspector Mukund Kawade, DB Officer API Rameshwar Kandure, PSI Shirish Salgar, Suhas Shingane, Sumendra Bopche, Bhajan Gharat, PC Pramod, and Beat Marshal Pankaj.
