FENCERS Sai Bharai and Ketan Shahu claimed gold medals in epee event in the Nagpur District Fencing Association organised Sub-Junior Fencing Competition at Divisional Sports Complex in Mankapur. Pragat Pawar, Aryan Kature and Isha Khadatkar also won gold medals in their respective events. Fencers from various schools in the city participated in competition. All the medal winners have been selected for Sub-Junior U-14 State Championship which is scheduled to take place from August 8 to 10 in Hingoli. Nagpur District Fencing Association congratulated all the winners and wished them luck for the State championship.

 

Ajay Sontakke, President; Nagpur District Fencing Association and Mohammad Shoeb, Secretary presented medals and certificates to all the winners. Tanmay Sawarkar, Junaid Khan, Sagar Bhagat, Ankit Gajbhiye, Rahul Mandavkar, Aryan Kartan, Dishant Walde, Yash Sontakke and Nandankunal Dhanvijay worked hard to make the event a success. Boys Foil: Pragat Pawar, Ojas Patil, Mohammad Anas, Aarush Meshram. Girls Foil: Isha Khadatkar, Gyanda Selokar, Vedika Ingole, Vihana Surkar. Boys Sabre: Aryan Kature, Anay Shahu, Goral Kshirsagar, Abhinav Giri. Girls Sabre: Dhurva Bharai, Divyanshi Dharpure, Ananya Mane, Nidhi Mishra.
