Ishan, Abhimanyu shine

 

 

ISHAN Singh and Abhimanyu Bhojne scored twice each in their respective school’s comfortable wins in DSO Nagpur Gramin Taluka Football Tournament (Under-17 Boys) at Aspire International School on Wednesday. Jain International’s Ishan scored a brace while Abhir Jhunjhunwala got one goal in their 3-0 drubbing of Somalwar Umiya. Abhimanyu found the net twice as DPS Lava defeated Podar International Katol Road 2-0. In other matches, DPS Mihan 2 bt Mount Fort 0 with goals from Aryan Bopche and Bhavya Turkar; Podar World 1 bt Ira International Besa 0 with a lone strike from Vansh Mankar. In the last game, St Claret bt Royal Gondwana 3-0 with Bhavya Patle, Tanishk Shende and Adarsh Gajbhiye scored one goal each to get their names on the scoresheet.
