Conveying a clear message not to mess with the employees’ priorities, the delegates of Madhya Pradesh Public Health and Medical Education Employees Union, on Wednesday, submitted a memorandum protesting against the neglect of employees working in Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Medical College and Super Speciality Hospital.
Union’s State President, Virendra Tiwari shared that through the memorandum we demanded to authorize the employees on priority-basis on the computer to make admission slips.
Then, employees who come in critical condition to the emergency medical room should be examined on priority, CMO employees should be included in the duty determination and referral system, side room arrangement should be restarted for employees as before, employees should be given beds on priority in ICU and critical wards and to ensure employees representative in the committee constituted for impartial investigation on the sudden death of late Suresh Baghel.
The Union also clarified that the administration has adopted a biased attitude by ignoring the proposed representative of the Union in the committee, which is a matter of serious concern.
Hence, a demand has been made to form a new committee under the leadership of an administrative officer. The Union has warned to initiate an agitation is appropriate action is not taken soon.
