The Nagpur Branch of WIRC of ICAI conducted an interactive meet with Commissioner of Income Tax (Exemptions), Dr Nitin Waghmode, at ICAI Bhawan, Dhantoli, recently. The session witnessed overwhelming participation with more than 100 Chartered Accountants (CAs) attending and benefitting from the deliberations. The officials present from the Income Tax Department included Sweta Kamlesh Patil, Joint Commissioner of Income Tax (Exemptions), Vijay Mohan Bhatt, Assistant Commissioner of Income Tax (Exemptions), Income Tax officers Shrihari Garge, Ashok Wadekar, Azharuddin Haque and Gautam Kumar. CA Dinesh Rathi, Chairman, ICAI Nagpur Branch, expressed gratitude to Income Tax Department for their continuous support and acknowledged the importance of such interactive platforms in bridging the gap between professionals and authorities.
