Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board has been honoured with the prestigious Best State Tourism Board award at the India Travel Awards 2025, held on September 9 at Le Meridien, New Delhi. The award was presented by Union Minister of Tourism and Culture, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, recognising the State’s leadership in innovation, excellence, and sustainable development in the tourism sector. Tourism, Culture, and Religious Trusts Minister (Independent Charge) Dharmendra Singh Lodhi called the award a tribute to the people and rich cultural heritage of Madhya Pradesh.
Shiv Shekhar Shukla, Additional Chief Secretary for Tourism, Culture, Home, and Religious Trusts, and Managing Director of Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board, credited the award to the collective efforts and vision of the team. “Our goal is not just to create new destinations, but to strengthen local economies, empower women, preserve cultural
