Second phase of agitation launched by AIDEF, INTUC, BPMS and CDRA in defence production units concludes

In compliance with the directives of Madhya Pradesh Police Headquarters, Bhopal and under the orders of Superintendent of Police, Sampat Upadhyay (IPS), a special traffic enforcement and awareness campaign is being conducted from September 8 to 22, 2025, aimed at reducing road accidents and fatalities.
Under this campaign, violators of traffic rules are being penalized and awareness activities are being carried out to educate vehicle drivers and school students about traffic safety.
On September 9, 2025, under the supervision of Additional SP (Traffic) Anjana Tiwari, traffic checkpoints were set up at Baldeobagh Square, Teen Patti Square, Tayyab Ali Square, Pentinaka Square, Tripuri Square, Carbage Tiraha and Maharajpur Bypass.
During the drive, 273 violators were penalized, and fines totalling Rs 1,03,600 were
collected. Besides this, in order to curb accidents on National and State Highways, strict action was taken against over-speeding vehicles. On the same day, 12 over-speeding drivers were fined, with penalties amounting to Rs 12,000. Along with this, a special workshop was organised at a private school, where students were educated on the importance of wearing helmets, the risks of driving without a license and other traffic safety rules. The school administration was also advised to ensure strict adherence to road safety norms and to keep students regularly sensitised about traffic discipline.
The traffic police have appealed to all citizens of Sanskardhani Jabalpur to always keep valid vehicle documents while driving and strictly follow traffic rules. The ongoing enforcement and awareness activities will continue throughout the campaign.
