Accountability is corner stone of leadership: Nuwal

 

 

Ramdeobaba University (formerly Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering & Management), a pioneering university in engineering and management education, celebrated its 41st Foundation Day recently with great fanfare. The occasion marked more than four decades of unwavering commitment to academic excellence, innovation, value-based education, and community development. Virtually addressing the gathering, Banwarilal Purohit, Chairman and Founder Emeritus, extended his heartfelt blessings and congratulations to the entire RBU fraternity. In a deeply inspiring message, he reflected on the university’s visionary foundation and the transformative journey it has undertaken over the years.

 

Satyanarayan Nuwal, Chairman, SRSS, in his address, emphasized the important difference between responsibility and accountability stating that true leadership is defined not merely by duty, but by a steadfast commitment to accountability in upholding excellence. The university honoured the outstanding faculty members for their remarkable contributions in research, innovation, and academic excellence. Under individual awards faculty members were honoured for their scholarly work. In the publications category, the awardees included: Dr Renuka A Nafdey, Dr Yatish Parauha, Dr Ankita Harkare, Dr. Mangesh Joshi, Dr Sachin Upadhye, Dr Bhumika Neole, Dr Shubham Anjankar, Dr Shankarshan Tiwari, and Dr Shilpa Kulkarni.

 

Special recognition was given to faculty members with 10 or more SCIE publications, namely Dr Renuka A Nafdey and Dr Yatish Parauha. Dr Yogesh V Deshpande was honoured for achieving highest citations in Scopus and WOS. Dr Yeshwant Sonkhaskar was recognised for granted patents, and Dr Purushottam Assudani was awarded for his contributions to corporate training. For consistently receiving excellent student feedback over the last three years, the following faculty members were felicitated: Dr Kimsy N Gulhane, Prof. Yoginee Pethe, and Prof. Aparna Gurjar.
