BHAVAN’S Bhagwandas Purohit Vidya Mandir, Srikrishna Nagar overcame Centre Point School International 4-3 in the District Sports Office organised Boys Under-14 Football Tournament on Thursday. Centre Point opened their account through Arnav M in the 10th minute of the game. Bhavan’s Ronit A replied back with another in just after 4 minutes of the opening goal to equalise the scores. Garv A and Jai Aditya found the back of the net in quick successions to take back the lead for Centre Point 3-1. Bhavan’s players struck thrice (Satyajit, Swaraj and Bhoojal) before the hooter to snatch back the lead and win the match. In another match of the day, Bhavan’s Trimurti Nagar too got the better of Prashant Vidyalaya after thrashing them 3 goals to nil. Goals came through the feet of Ameya Raut (5th and 15th) and Reyasnh Rewatkar (17th).

 

Lokansh Chaware scored three goals for SFS Sadar to beat TBRA Mundle in another exciting match of the day. Anjuman English School couldn’t stand a chance against Narayana Vidyalayam as the latter thrashed them four goals to nil. Amey P (3rd and 13th), Avneesh (9th) and Soham (14th) were the scorers.
