In a recent administrative development, Joint Collector Aditya Kumar Jain has been officially relieved from his duties in Bhopal following his transfer to the Department of Horticulture and Food Processing.
The transfer order, issued on August 4, marks a strategic move in the state’s ongoing efforts to strengthen departmental leadership across key sectors.
Before departing for his new assignment, Jain formally handed over his responsibilities to Deputy Collector Prakashchand Pandey, ensuring a smooth transition of duties.
In a temporary arrangement, Pandey has further delegated his current responsibilities to Deputy Collector Lakhansingh Choudhry, who will now oversee Pandey’s portfolio until further orders.
Additionally, Prakashchand Pandey is set to assume charge as Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) of Tehsil Kolar, a crucial administrative region within the Bhopal district. His appointment is expected to bring renewed focus to governance and public service delivery in the tehsil.
