SWADESHI Jagaran Manch in association with CAIT and other leading retail trade organisations in the country will be organising ‘Vyapari Jutaan’ an interactive meeting on how to support retail trade and promote Indian goods and products amid US President Donald Trump’s tariff war on Indian goods.

 

The meeting will be held at Shri Agrasen Bhawan, Ravi Nagar on September 15 and 16 at 3 pm. This was disclosed by Ajay Patki, President of Swadeshi Jagaran Manch while speaking at a press conference at Patrakar Club on Friday. BC Bhartia, National President of Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT), Prabhakar Deshmukh, Kishore Dharashivkar, Vinod Gupta, Rajkumar Gupta, Ashwin Gupta and Swadeshi Jagran Manch members Dhanjay Bhide, Shirish Tare and Purshottam Gurao and others were also present. Patki further said that more than 43 retail trade organisations from every state of the country will be participating in the meeting including experts.

 

More than 750 representatives are expected to attend the event here. The retail trade representatives will discuss on how to promote Swadeshi products and after coming to a common opinion will announce road map on the 16th. The objective is to make the traders at the bottom aware, educated and trained about the new challenges of future trade. BC Bhartia said that renowned experts of the country will also speak about the future of retail trade challenges and opportunities. “There will also be a discussion on weather all trader organisation should organise such Vyapari Jutaan meetings in all the tahsil blocks of the country and on what mechanism should be adopted,”he added.
