625 assistant professors, 25 sports officers
and 50 librarians have been included
in the posts approved for recruitment
Finance Department, Government of Chhattisgarh has granted permission for the recruitment on 700 posts including 625 assistant professors, 25 sports officers and 50 librarians in the Higher Education Department, Government of Chhattisgarh.
As per the instructions of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai and on the proposal of the Higher Education Department, the Finance Department has granted permission for recruitment on 700 posts. This order has brought a new ray of hope
and opportunity for the youth of State.
Chhattisgarh Government has taken this decision for recruitment to various vacant posts in higher education, which will give a new direction to the education system of the state and the shortage of vacant posts in government colleges can be overcome.
625 posts of Assistant Professor have been included in the posts approved for recruitment. With the recruitment on these posts, unprecedented improvement will be seen in the quality of studies and research work in colleges. In the same sequence, recruitment for 25 posts of sports officer has been approved. With the appointment of these posts, sports and physical education activities in colleges can be strengthened further.
Apart from this, recruitment has also been approved for 50 posts of librarian.
The appointment of librarians will lead to better functioning of libraries and study material will be available to students in a more systematic manner. Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai said that this decision is a historic step towards providing employment opportunities to the youth of the state and creating a quality environment in higher education institutions. Filling up of 700 vacant posts in colleges will not only strengthen the academic standards in colleges but students will also get better guidance, training and learning opportunities. This initiative will empower the future of the coming generation while infusing new energy and inspiration in the field of education.
Finance Minister O P Choudhary said that the State government under the leadership of Chief Minister Sai is giving priority to education.
The approval of recruitment for 700 posts in government colleges is a big decision in this direction. On one hand, this initiative will create employment opportunities for the youth, while on the other hand, the state’s higher education system will get a new strength. This permission given by the Finance Department will prove helpful in making the future generation empowered and self-reliant, he added.
