DR Neha Agrawal was felicitated by Indian Physiotherapy Association (IAP) and its Women’s Cell for her outstanding contributions to the field of Physiotherapy in the recently held national convention. The prestigious award was presented by Iron Lady Kiran Bedi in the presence of IAP National President Sanjeev Kumar Jha and Women’s Cell President Dr Rushi Varshaney.
Dr Neha Agrawal, who leads the Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation at Bluebird Children’s Hospital, Raipur,
was recognised for her
exceptional dedication towards improving the health and
well-being of women and
children.
Her remarkable
social initiatives including
programmes focused on early intervention in childhood disabilities and posture correction awareness for school children have benefited thousands across the region.
Expressing her gratitude, Dr Neha Agrawal said, “It is my heartfelt mission to empower women and children through physiotherapy, contributing to a healthier and stronger society”.
Her tireless efforts and passion for social service earned her this distinguished accolade among a gathering of over 4,000 physiotherapy professionals from across the nation.
3 physiotherapists from Durg honoured

Three physiotherapists from Durg district Dr Kshipra Patankar, Dr Shweta Deshlahra, and Dr Neha Batra were conferred with the Best District Award at the 3rd National Conference of Physiotherapists in New Delhi. The
award was presented by Lok Sabha members Bansuri Swaraj and Rajiv Bhardwaj in recognition of their outstanding contribution to advancing physiotherapy practices.
The trio, working under the banner of the Indian Association of Physiotherapists Women Cell (IAPWC), Durg District, have consistently led health awareness programmes in schools, sports arenas, and community platforms. Guided by senior professionals Dr Sanjiv Jha, Dr Ruchi Versney, and Dr Garima Tiwari, and supported by Dr Swati Jain, they promoted physical fitness among students, ensured injury management and rehabilitation for athletes, and spread awareness on preventing lifestyle-related ailments in society.
The honour reflects the growing importance of physiotherapy in preventive and rehabilitative healthcare. Organisers said the recognition highlights physiotherapy’s expanding role beyond clinics, inspiring professionals nationwide to build healthier communities.
