KIMS Kingsway Hospitals becomes accredited training centre

KIMS Kingsway Hospitals has recently become an accredited training centre of the American Heart Association (AHA) for conducting Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) courses. This recognition is a significant milestone for the hospitals and will further strengthen emergency healthcare services. The hospital has already started the first batch of BLS and ACLS training.
 
These courses will be conducted regularly for healthcare providers, doctors, nurses, technicians, as well as medical and nursing students. The programme is designed to build confidence and enhance the skills of healthcare professionals, enabling them to provide better care in emergency situations and critical patient care. Dr Tushar Gawad, Unit Head at KIMS Kingsway Hospitals, stated, “These courses are extremely helpful in providing emergency cardiovascular care to critically ill patients.
 
It will equip healthcare professionals with essential skills to handle life-threatening situations effectively.” Upon successful completion of the course, candidates will be awarded a certificate that is internationally recognised.
