Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Tuesday inaugurated a free bus service from the Maa Kali Mandir at Akashvani Chowk in Raipur city to Dongargarh. Devotees traveling from Raipur to Dongargarh will visit Maa Bamleshwari Mandir Dongargarh and they will benefit from this free bus service. Chief Minister Sai appreciated this initiative of Kalimata Sewa Samiti and congratulated and wished the officials of the committee. He prayed to Maa Kali and Maa Bamleshwari for happiness, prosperity and peace of Chhattisgarh. He also extended his heartfelt greetings and best wishes to all the people of State for Sharadiya Navratri. This free bus service, operated by the Maa Kali Sewa Samiti, will run continuously for nine days during the Navratri festival. Four buses will be run daily to carry devotees from Raipur to Dongargarh. The devotees will return to Raipur after darshan.
 
The Chief Minister flagged off the first batch of about two hundred male and female devotees in four buses. While flagging off the buses, Chief Minister Sai said that Kalimata Sewa Samiti has been taking devotees to the darshan of Maa Bamleshwari in four buses every day during every Navratri for the last ten years with a spirit of selfless service. It is not only a symbol of religious faith but also a living example of social unity, he added. Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma also addressed the programme and requested the committee to run a bus from Kawardha to Dongargarh. Revenue Minister Tankram Verma, Mayor of Raipur Municipal Corporation Meenal Choubey, MLAs Sunil Soni, Purandar Mishra, Shrichand Sundarani, Deepak Bhardwaj and others were present on the occasion.
