Allow entry of heavy vehicles in city limits 4-hours: Traders

 

 

A delegation of Steel & Hardware Chamber of Vidarbha, led by President of CAMIT, Dr Dipen Agrawal, met DCP Traffic Lohit Matani recently, to highlight the hardships being faced by iron and steel traders and MSME units, due to ban on entry of heavy vehicles in city limits from 6 am to 10 pm. The delegation comprised of Vice President Manoj Khemani and Dinesh Aggrawal, Secretary Mukul Agrawal, Joint Secretary Manish Jejani, and Treasurer Suryakant Agrawal. DCP Lohit Matani acknowledged the concerns raised by the delegation and requested them to meet Commissioner of Police. Dr Dipen Agrawal also met Commissioner of Police Ravindra Singhal,and suggested to allow movement of heavy vehicles, preferably between 12 noon and 4 pm. After hearing this suggestion, CP assured that he would look into the matter.
