Internal Smart India Hackathon 2025 was inaugurated at St Aloysius Institute of Technology (SAIT), Jabalpur, on Wednesday. The inaugural ceremony was organised in presence of Fr Thankachan Jose (Director, SAIT), Dr Smita Shrivastava (Principal) and Anoop Banerjee (Registrar). All heads of departments and staff members were also present to encourage and motivate students.
The event was organised under the notification of Ministry of Education, Government of India, and served as a platform to identify and prepare teams for the All India Level Hackathon. Around 60 students, along with their team leaders, participated enthusiastically in this internal round.
Students were given problem statements to solve, encouraging them to apply their creativity, technical knowledge, and innovative ideas. This initiative by the Ministry of Education is a commendable step to uplift students in the technical field and engage them in real-world problem-solving.
The programme was coordinated by Dr Rakesh Haldekar (Coordinator, SIH) with active support from Yogesh Tiwari, Jitesh Pandey and others. The event was compered by Disha E Ramtake.
The competition was judged by eminent experts Dhruv Upadhaya and Satish Soni, who praised the participants for their innovative approach and technical acumen. The Internal Hackathon at SAIT proved to be an inspiring and dynamic event, setting the stage for students to excel at the national level and contribute impactful solutions to real-world challenges.
