A 19-year-old boy committed suicide by hanging himself at Nawargaon in Sindewahi taluka on Tuesday. As per reports, Anurag Anil Borkar had cleared the NEET UG-2025 exam with 99.99 percentile, securing 1475th rank in the OBC category, recently. He was set to begin his MBBS admission in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. Anurag, son of Anil Borkar, President of Nawargaon Traders’ Association, was found hanging from the ceiling in the early hours when his mother had gone to wake him up. The sudden loss of such a promising student has left the family and village in deep mourning. A suicide note was recovered in which the Anurag stated that he did not want to pursue medicine but wanted to make a career in business. Kanchan Pande, PI, Sindewahi, is investigating further.
