The tiger safari in Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve (TATR) will be an unaffordable activity for middle class people as the TATR management once again increased the safari fees under management quota from October 1. The existing rates are already very high for middle class and the add-on rates will affect the footfall in coming days. TATR attracts tourists due to its easy tiger sightings and for its flora and fauna. Many famous personalities like to visit this tiger reserve for its rich biodiversity. TATR is one of the tiger reserves in India, which is on the world map too. Tourists from all over the world visit the place for a sight of tiger. Not only the core area, but also the buffer area is now easily accessible for tiger sightings in this tiger reserve.

Tourists get good facility in the reserve. In fact, the flow of tourists has increased in recent time in buffer areas as compared to the core area. Famous tigers like Maya, Sonam, Matkkasur, Chota Matka, Madhu, etc. are from this tiger reserve and tourists pay hefty amount to see these tigers in their natural habitat. The TATR management will be restarting the jungle safari from October 1 after a four month break.
 
The management will implement the new rates from the new session and all tourists have to pay the new rates to enter the jungle. The hike in rates is also on display on the official website of TATR and tourists will have to pay the rates for jungle safari. Earlier, the entry fee in core area in TATR from Monday to Friday was Rs 4,000, guide fee Rs 600 and vehicle fee Rs 3,000, totalling Rs 7,600. On Saturday and Sunday, the entry fee in the core area was Rs 8,000, guide fee Rs 600 and vehicle fee Rs 3,000, totalling Rs 11,600. Similarly, in buffer zone, the entry fee was Rs 3,000 from Monday to Friday, guide fee was Rs 600, and the vehicle fee was Rs 2,700, totalling Rs 6,300. On Saturday and Sunday, the entry fee was Rs 6,000, guide fee was Rs 600, and vehicle fee was Rs 2,700, for a total of Rs 9,300. Now, from October 1 onwards, tourists have to pay Rs 4,600 entry fee in core area, guide fee will be Rs 700, and vehicle fee Rs 3,300 from Monday to Friday. The entry fee in core area on Saturday and Sunday will be Rs 8,600, guide fee will be Rs 700 and vehicle fee will be Rs 3,300, totalling Rs 12,600. In the buffer zone, the entry fee will be Rs 3,600, guide fee Rs 700, and vehicle fee Rs 3,000 from Monday to Friday, totalling Rs 7,300. On Saturday and Sunday, the entry fee will be Rs 6,000, guide fee will be Rs 700, and vehicle fee Rs 3,000, totalling Rs 10,300.
