VIDYA Bharti, Vidarbha Region will be organising regional athletics competition on Sunday at the RTMNU Sports Complex, Ravi Nagar. Addressing a press conference Jitendra Ghordadekar, Co-ordinator informed that players from Vidarbha, Kokan and Gujarat will be taking part in the competition. “Events will be held in U-14, U-17 and U-19 age categories for both boys and girls,” stated Ghordadekar.

 

“A high level of competition will be seen during the one-day meet where participants will try to outdo their opponents,” he said. The inauguration will be graced by Dr Sambhaji Bhosale, Acting Director, Department of Physical Education and Sports Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University. Dr Padmakar Charmode, Arvindrao Tembhurnikar, Director, Global Indian International School; Dr Piyush Ambulkar, Sports Officer, Nagpur Municipal Corporation; Shrikant Deshpande, President, Vidya Bharti; Dharmesh Joshi, Sports Incharge, Vidya Bharti; Roshan Agarkar along with Vishal Lokhande, Vaibhav Kumbhare and Priya Bhore will also remain present.
