FIR against four people, after buffaloes worth Rs 5 lakh that had gone to graze in Ghutiya forest under Bargi police station area disappeared. After receiving information, police initiated further investigation which revealed that four people had electrocuted two buffaloes to death and then buried them in the field to conceal the evidence,
 
while the other buffaloes were still missing. Police have now registered a case against the accused under various sections. According to the police, Manoj Yadav, son of Raghuveer Yadav, resident of village Pidrai, Yadav Mohalla, village Annakheda, Tilwara, lodged a report that he ran a dairy at the village and have 62 buffaloes and 3 calves. On September 7, 2025, the shepherd of the village,
 
Dhalchand Yadav, had taken his 65 buffaloes for grazing in the Ghutiya forest. When his buffaloes returned in the evening and were seen in the fields of Buddh Singh and Barelal. After this, while searching for them, he went to his field and saw that Buddh Singh, Barelal and Raju Gaud had buried his two buffaloes by digging a pit in their field.
 
On Thursday, the police registered a case and started investigation. The buffaloes buried in the pit were exhumed, identified, and post-mortems were conducted. Preliminary investigations revealed that Buddh Gaud, Barelal Gaud, Raju Gaud, and Prahlad Gaud had electrocuted the buffaloes in the field, resulting in their death. After which, he hid the dead buffaloes in a pit in his field. The other buffaloes, worth Rs. 5 lakh, were still missing and the search was ongoing. A case has been registered against Buddhu Gond, Barelal Gond, Raju Gond, and Prahlad Gond.
