Mor-Daga takes bridge crown

 

THE duo of Mor and Daga won the MP pairs event in the 9th edition of KK Kumra Memorial Bridge Tournament. They managed to edge out Rathi-Patharia by 26 percentage for the first position. Third and fourth prizes went to Raja-Amit Rewatkar and Patki-Nandanwara. In the IMP, Mor-Daga won by 26 VP over Neeraj-Sanjeev Kumra. Third and fourth spots were bagged by Kulkarni-Pendse and B Mohota-S Chhajjed.

 

Duplicate event was won by Mohota team comprising BK Mohota, Anil Mohota, S Chhajed and Samir Roy. They were far ahead of the remaining teams and won comfortably. Runners-up were Samadhan team consisting of SK Patni, MI Harawala, V Patki, Dr SD Khanzode and Rtd Air Commodore Dilip Mandpa. Third prize went to Nagpur that included Mor, Daga, Watwe, Luley and Dutta.
