Sarsanghchalak launches an audiovisual recording of the Sangh prayer.  
 
The RSS prayer is the collective resolve of the RSS. Since 1939, Swayamsevaks have been reciting this prayer daily at the shakha. Through this practice over the years, this prayer has acquired the power of a mantra, and this is not just something to be spoken about but something to be experienced directly, stated Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Sarsanghachalak Dr Mohan Bhagwat. He was speaking during the launch of an innovative audio-visual presentation of the RSS prayer, set to a modern musical arrangement and presenting its meaning in various Indian languages, which was done by Dr Mohan Bhagwat. Renowned music composer Rahul Ranade, celebrated singer Shankar Mahadevan, and well-known voiceoverartist Harish Bhimani have made significant contributions to this production. This innovative audio-visual presentation was screened at the launch.
 
The event was held at the Maharshi Vyas Auditorium , Reshimbagh Smriti Bhavan complex, in the presence of many dignitaries. Speaking on this occasion, Dr Bhagwat explained the history and impact of the RSS prayer in detail. Dr Mohan Bhagwat said, "This prayer expresses the goal to be achieved collectively by the entire Hindu society. It is a prayer to Mother India. The first salutation is to Mother India and then to God. Nothing is asked from Mother India in this prayer; rather, it expresses what we should offer to her. What we ask for is from God.
 
This prayer is not merely words or their meaning, but it expresses feelings for Mother India. Since 1939, Swayamsevaks have been reciting this prayer daily at the shakha. Through this practice over the years, this prayer has acquired the power of a mantra, and this is something to be experienced directly. The prayer strengthens the Swayamsevak. Project head and musician Rahul Ranade revealed that Bhimani had first presented this idea to him. He was specially honoured by Mohanji on this occasion. During the same ceremony, a video showcasing the Hindi and Marathi translations of the prayer was presented. This prayer was composed with the collaboration of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra of London. Renowned singer Shankar Mahadevan performed the song, and the Hindi explanation is being done by Harish Bhimani. Marathi, version was said by well-known actor Sachin Khedekar. Translations of the prayer in approximately 14 Indian languages, including Gujarati and Telugu, will be released. Indranil Chitale, head of the Chitale Industries Group, actors Sachin Khedekar, Vivek Apte, Rigved Deshpande, Kamlesh Bhadkamkar, MLA Sidharth Shirode and others were also present at the event.
