Sai pays tribute to Bhagat Singh

 

 

Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Sunday paid floral tribute to martyr Bhagat Singh at Bhagat Singh Chowk ion his birth anniversary in the state capital on Sunday. He offered flowers at the statue of the revolutionary icon and bowed in reverence. Sai said that Bhagat Singh was a radiant hero of India’s freedom struggle, whose indomitable courage, unwavering patriotism and supreme sacrifice left an everlasting inspiration for generations to come. “His life teaches us that national interest is paramount and that sacrifice for freedom is the true symbol of patriotism,” the CM said. He added that Bhagat Singh’s ideas and ideals continue to inspire the youth to actively participate in nation-building. MLA Purandar Mishra, CGMSC Chairman Deepak Mhaskey, Chairman of State Commission for Minorities Amarjeet Chhabra, and several other distinguished citizens were present.
