Raipur lass Ashika Singhal is set perform at the 40th Chakradhar Samaroh, an annual festival celebrating music and dance, which began on August 27 in Raigarh, on September 3. Ashika Singhal, a seven-year-old Kathak dancer, is a student of Guru Neha Singh. She is currently pursuing a spiritual examination in Kathak from Chandigarh University and has secured the first position in her first year. Art lovers and scholars have high expectations for her performance, noting her exceptional body language, rhythm, and stage confidence. Organisers and attendees believe that the 40th Chakradhar Samaroh is a crucial platform for both established and emerging artists. They anticipate that Ashika’s performance will not only showcase the rich tradition of Indian classical dance but also serve as a glimpse into the bright future of the art form. Her command over expressions, rhythm, and beats is said to set her apart from her peers, and her performance is expected to be a memorable highlight of the festival.
