In order to ensure proper facilities for devotees during idol immersion process on Anant Chaturdashi, Municipal Commissioner Priti Yadav along with concerned senior officials inspected ongoing arrangements at the Tilwara immersion pond, Hanumantal and other such places. On the occasion, she directed officials to ensure that devotees should not face any inconveniences while immersing idols of Lord Ganesh. She emphasised to ensure proper safety arrangements, smooth movement of traffic, cleanliness and adequate lighting at the sites. Additionally, Collector Deepak Saxena and Superintendent of Police, Sampat Upadhyay also jointly visited and inspected different immersion sites and gave necessary guidelines regarding arrangements for immersion of Lord Ganesh.
 
Collector Saxena and SP Upadhayay were accompanied by many administration and police officers during their inspection at Hanumantal pond, Aadhartal pond and Gwarighat Bhatauli and Tilwara immersion pond sites on Tuesday. The Municipal Commissioner instructed that barricading, rescue equipment and security measures be in position, considering the large number of devotees expected for immersion after the festival’s conclusion. She also stressed that no devotee should face inconvenience during the rituals. Yadav visited Hanumantal Talab to review preparations and issued similar instructions. Yadav further directed that apart from Tilwaraghat, Gaurighat and Hanumantal, all designated immersion sites across the city must have proper sanitation, lighting and safety arrangements. Giving necessary guidelines for making arrangements at the immersion sites, the Collector ordered to ensure cleanliness at immersion ghats, repair of access road to the immersion site, adequate lighting, arrangement of boatmen, parking arrangement by contacting the concerned department and getting it resolved immediately to ensure smooth arrangements on the day of immersion.
 
Senior officials present on the occasion were Additional Superintendent of Police City/Crime, Jitendra Singh, and City Superintendent of Police (CSP) Gohalpur, Madhur Pateria, CSP Adhartal Rajeshwari Kaurav, DSP Traffic Garha, Baijnath Prajapati; Health Officer Ankita Burman, Divisional Engineer Pawan Singh Thakur, Divisional Officer Mahendra Singh Uike, K K Rawat, Assistant Engineer (In-charge) Aniket Goraia, Chief Sanitation Inspector Santosh Mahor, administrative officers and others.
