SFS College lift football crown

 

 

SAINT Francis de Sales (SFS) College stunned Hislop College to claim the District Sports Office organised Under-19 football tournament played at the former’s ground in Seminary Hills on Tuesday. In the summit clash, SFS College defeated former champions Hislop College 4-2 via tie breaker after both the teams failed to score in the regulation time. In the tie-breaker, Aditya Singh, Priyanshi Singh, Piyush Kanojiya and Harshad Madavi found the back of the net for SFS while for Hislop, only Pranay Nimbarte and Parigh Pusdekar managed to score. In the hard-line final, MKH Sancheti defeated Bhavan’s Srikrishna Nagar 4-2 to take the third spot.
