VIDARBHA bowlers stole the show on the opening day of their four-day match of the K Thimmappiah Memorial Tournament as they bowled out Goa for 211 runs in their first innings at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Thursday. Pacers Praful Hinge (4-32), Nachiket Bhute (3-39) and spinner Ganesh Bhosale (3-39) shared the spoils after VCA captain Atharva Taide won the toss and elected to bowl first. For Goa, Abhinav Tejrana top-scored with 74, while captain Darshan Mishal contributed 39. VCA were 39-0 at close of play with Taide unbeaten on 18 and Aman Mokhade on 14.
