Police BANDOBAST on New Yeareve to curb anti-social activities

JABALPUR police remained on toes to avert any untoward incident on the eve of New Year celebrations. Police conducted intensive search of vehicles at all the main streets and corners of the city till the late night for prevention of anti-social activities.
 
Under the direction of Superintendent of Police, Sampat Upadhyay, additional security arrangements were made for avoiding anti-social activities and drunken driving in the city during New Year celebrations. For this separate police teams were constituted under supervision of Additional SPs, CSPs and SDOPs in urban and rural areas.
 
Police personnel conducted checking of suspected vehicles and implemented traffic norms. Additional police deployment was made at main squares and streets in the city. Police conducted vehicles checking at different checking points at main streets and squares with breath analysers for avoiding drunk driving.
 
Additional police personnel, along with mobile vehicles and patrolling teams, kept vigilant eye throughout the city. All the senior officers and SHOs of different police stations monitored the law and order situation. Besides this, police parties were deployed near venues of new-year celebration, hotels, clubs and restaurants and functions were concluded within time specified by the police.
