Utsav Shopping Carnival expo to conclude on Jan 11

 

 

 

For experiencing the amazing products of cotton, silk, handloom made by master craftsmen from all over India displayed in 80 stalls of different states of India one has to visit the Utsav Shopping Carnival, cotton & silk exhibition cum sale being opened at exhibition ground, Near Rudra Bar, Manish Nagar, Nagpur between 12 noon to 10 pm. The expo will conclude on January 11. The regional and state’s specialties include a host of varieties like Bhagalpuri Tassar, Kosa and Khadi silk of Bihar, Lucknow Chikan, Jamdani and of course Banaras silk from Uttar Pradesh, Chanderi and Maheshwari silk of MP, Patola, Bandhini and Kutch Embroidary from Gujarat, Tangail and Jamdani, Chattisgarh’s Kantha, Kosa silk and tribal work sarees of Dharmavaram, Gadwal, Venkatgiri, Mangalgiri, Uppada, Kal-kari and Pochampally from Andhra Pradesh. Thus all in all the exhibition is all about the use of traditional handloom skills to create contemporary lifestyle products all under one roof.
