Enthusiastic participation seen during Nat’l-level Kabaddi tourney in Chhindwara

A NATIONAL-LEVEL Kabaddi tournament is being organised by Jan Jagran Manch in memory of the late Jaichand Jain, at the local Pola Ground (Dussehra Ground). Indrajeet Singh Bais informed that the first and second rounds of matches were played at the using a league-cum-knockout format. The quarter-finals are being played and the quarter-finals, semi-finals, and final matches will be played from 10 AM on January 12.
 
Former Minister Jalam Singh Patel, Chaudhary Chandrabhan Singh, and BJP District President Dr. Sheshrao Yadav will be present at the closing ceremony to encourage the players. The main organizer of the event, Ramesh Pophali, informed that the winners will be awarded cash prizes of Rs 2,50,000 along with attractive trophies. The officials for the competition include Match Commissioner Indrajeet Singh Bais, Sports Officer Sushil Patwa, G.S.R. Naidu, Mukesh Soni, Ajay Thakur, Sharad Stephen, and others.
 
National-level registered umpires from Jabalpur, Shanu Yadav (Convener), Pushpendra Pandey and Dinesh Tiwari, Suresh Baghel from Harda, Dilip Singh from Rewa, Mithilesh Chaturvedi from Satna, and Devchandra Suryavanshi, Narendra Suryavanshi, Preeti Marko, Soman Uike and Rohit P. from Chhindwara are providing their services.
 
Sanjay Bamne, Kalashram Marskole, Neer Pal Uike, Ashish Sarathe, Jai Kumar Marskole, and Prakash Dahariya are serving as scorers. To encourage the players today, Shankar Shah University ViceChancellor Professor Indra Prasad Tripathi, Hindi Professor Sita Ram Sharma, Rinkle Bedi, Satyendra Tiwari and K.R. Tiwari were specially present.
