UNDER the banner of Sarv Hindu
Samaj, a large-scale ‘Hindu
Sammelan’was organised at various places of Raipur district. The
objective of the event was to
strengthen cultural awareness,
social harmony, and commitment toward nation-building
within Hindu society.
Conferences held simultaneously at 12 different locations
witnessed enthusiastic participation from citizens, youth, and
women.
As part of the celebrations, a
grand Kalash Yatra was organised
in Deen Dayal Upadhyay Nagar
by Sarv Hindu Samaj and Matru
Shakti.
Local residents welcomed
the procession by showering
flowers along the route. The yatra
emerged as a powerful symbol
of cultural unity and collective
social participation.
Delivering an inspiring
address, Devkar Maharaj of Kabir
Ashram, Soniperi, highlighted
the relevance of Hindu conferences organized under the guidance of the Rashtriya
Swayamsevak Sangh. He drew
attention to the atrocities faced
by Hindus in Bangladesh and the
ongoing attempts at religious
conversion.
Chairperson of the State
Commission for Protection of
Child Rights Varnika Sharma was
the keynote speaker.
Speaker on
the occasion, he emphasised the
role of women on the occasion
of 100 years of the Sangh. She
stated that understanding society begins with understanding
the family.
Urmila Netam from the Gayatri
Pariwar described women as the
embodiment of Shakti, Lakshmi,
and Saraswati, and stressed their
responsibility in shaping society. In his address, Chhattisgarh
Prant Sanghchalak Dr Toplal
Verma stated that one lakh Hindu
conferences are being organised
across the country.
Referring to
India’s industrial strength and
robust economy, he warned that
this progress has triggered
attempts at cultural disruption.
Remembering the sacrifices of
great leaders, he called for a
revival of cultural consciousness
and emphasised research, social
harmony, self-reliance, Make in
India, environmental protection,
greater use of the Hindi language,
and promotion of cottage industries. He concluded by saying,
“The national conscience is
awakening; change is inevitable.”
Kshetra Sanghchalak (Madhy
Kshetra) Dr Purnendu Saxena
stated that the Sangh’s 100-year
journey is a saga of service, discipline, and organisation.
