THE building handover ceremony for Kendriya Vidyalaya Nainpur, a significant achievement in the field of education for the town of Nainpur, was formally done on Sunday. Cabinet Minister of the Public Health Engineering Department, Sampatiya Uike, was present as the chief guest on this occasion. Addressing the gathering, she described this achievement as a milestone in the field of education for the students of Nainpur and the surrounding rural areas.
She said that the opening of the Kendriya Vidyalaya would provide quality and accessible education to the children of the region, giving new impetus to overall development. Minister, Uike informed that until the permanent building is fully operational, the Kendriya Vidyalaya will temporarily function in the new girls’ school building. She also clarified that all necessary basic facilities are being ensured for the smooth functioning of the school. In her address, Minister Uike said that if there is any shortage of resources or funds at any level, it will be resolved.
She announced that Kendriya Vidyalaya Nainpur will officially commence operations from April 1, and all vacancies for the principal, teachers, and other staff will be filled soon. She appreciated the cooperation and contribution of MP, Faggan Singh Kulaste and Collector, Somesh Mishra, stating that it is due to their coordinated efforts that this important educational institution has become a reality for the region.
It may be mentioned that on February 28, 2021, when Sampatiya Uike was a Rajya Sabha member, she had announced the establishment of a Kendriya Vidyalaya in Nainpur. Following continuous efforts and coordination, this school has now taken shape. The school building has been sanctioned in Samnapur Gram Panchayat of Nainpur development block, where its permanent operation is now set to begin after a threeyear process. The program was attended by Municipal Council President, Krishna Panjwani, other distinguished public representatives, SDM, Ashutosh Thakur, the school principal and staff, and a large number of citizens.
