Kashish Chandrakarto be honoured

 

 

 

IN RECOGNITION of the outstanding academic and artistic excellence, Kashish Chandrakar, a student of Kamaladevi Sangeet Mahavidyalaya, Raipur, will receive the prestigious Thakur Jaidev Singh Memorial Gold Medal and Mamasahab Majumdar Amrit Mahotsav Memorial Gold Medal. She secured the first position in the merit list for Bachelor of Performing Arts (Vocal Music) during the 2022-23 academic session at Indira Kala Sangeet Vishwavidyalaya, Khairagarh.

 

The medals will be conferred at the university’s Convocation Ceremony on January 28. Kashish Chandrakar achieved this distinction under the guidance of her guru, Dr Deepak Bedekar, from Kamaladevi Sangeet Mahavidyalaya. Notably, in the 2021-22 academic session, Ujjwal Thakur, a Tabla student from the same institution, also topped the university merit list and will be honored with a Gold Medal. The management, faculty, and students of Kamaladevi Sangeet Mahavidyalaya have congratulated both achievers and extended best wishes for their future artistic endeavors.
