ESSENCE International School organised Ankit Menon Memorial Sport Festival 2026 at its premises recently.
The event witnessed participation from various schools and clubs, showcasing talent in volleyball, football, and cricket. Rajesh Tathare, Senior Police Inspector was the chief guest and Christopher Cladious Peter, Asstt FIFA Referee, was a special guest.
School Directors Vijay Menon, Dr Hema Menon, Principal Beena Menon, Quality Co-ordinator Jayshri Sastri, Sports Head Sadashiv Boldhan were also present.
The volleyball title went to The Radiance School while SOS Wanadongri finished runners-up. In U-10 football, Nobel Sports Academy emerged winner.
The U-15 title went to St John’s High School, Mohan Nagar while Essence International School ended up runners-up.
In U-15 cricket, Jindal Public School claimed the title
and South Public School finished runners-up.
Individual awards: Ayansh Paul (Best Goalkeeper, U-10); Arnav Shinde (Best Striker, U-10); Devansh Gaur (Player of the Tournament, U-10); Dhawal Waghale (Best Goalkeeper, U-15); Sahil Samudre (Best Striker, U-15); Moses Joseph (Player of the Tournament, U-15); Viaan Poranwar (Best Batsman, U-15).
