IN A MAJOR boost to regional
connectivity and urban infrastructure, the foundation stone
for the long-awaited four-lane
bridge over the Machna River
was laid at Karbala Ghat on
Sunday. The project aims to significantly ease traffic congestion
on the vital Betul-Kheri route.
The
formal commencement of the
construction work was marked
by the unveiling of the ceremonial plaque by BJP State President
and local MLA, Hemant
Khandelwal.
The event saw the distinguished presence of Union
Minister Durgadas Uikey.
Joining
them were several prominent
legislators and public representatives, including MLAs
Mahendra Singh Chauhan,
Chandrashekhar Deshmukh, Dr
Yogesh Pandagre, and Gangabai
Uikey, alongside District
President Sudhakar Pawar.
