Union Minister JP Nadda accorded warm welcome on arrival in city

Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare and Chemicals and Fertilisers, Jagat Prakash Nadda was accorded a grand welcome on his arrival in Jabalpur on Thursday evening. He reached Dumna Airport at around 5.30 pm from New Delhi by a special flight. State Public Works Minister Rakesh Singh received the Union Minister at the airport by presenting a bouquet. Several senior BJP leaders including Mayor Jagat Bahadur Singh, MLA Ashok Rohani, BJP State General Secretary Rahul Kothari, State Treasurer Akhilesh Jain, State Women’s Wing President Ashwini Paranjpe, City BJP President Ratnesh Sonkar, Rural District President Rajkumar Patel, former minister Sharad Jain and others also received the Union Minister. Collector Raghvendra Singh and Superintendent of Police Sampat Upadhyay were also present on the occasion.
 
Union Minister J P Nadda will participate in a series of programmes on Friday, the second day of his Jabalpur visit. His pre scheduled programme for Friday has been revised. According to the revised schedule, the Union Minister will leave Civil Lines Pachpedi at 10.50 am on Friday and reach the City Bengali Club at Karmachand Chowk, where he will attend a meeting of the Siddhi Bala Bose Library Association at 11 am. Thereafter, at 12.40 pm, he will participate in a mass marriage programme organised by the Jabalpur Municipal Corporation under the Mukhya Mantri Kanya Vivah Yojana at Garrison Ground, Sadar. From Garrison Ground, the Union Minister will return to Civil Lines Pachpedi at 1 pm. At 3.20 pm, he will visit the Jal Mandir at Sheetalpuri on Ukhri Road. From 4 pm to 6.45 pm, he will attend local programmes, followed by participation in the Maha Aarti of Maa Narmada at Gwarighat at 7 pm. After an overnight stay in Jabalpur, Union Minister J P Nadda will depart for New Delhi on Saturday, January 24, at 2 pm from Dumna Airport.
