Vizag’s Parinitha clinches twin tennis titles

Parinitha V claimed twin titles on the final day of MSLTA-NDHTA All India Ranking Super Series Under-14 Tennis Tournament for Boys and Girls which concluded at NDHTA courts in Ramnagar. In the girls singles event, top seed Parinitha V from Vizag came up with a brilliant performance to bag the singles and doubles title.

 

Her opponent Chahat Thakur (seed 4) from Mumbai tried to put up a brave front in the second set but in the final stages, Parinitha came up with two winners and won the match 6-2, 7-5. In the boys singles event, second seed Aarav Challani defeated Sujai Pothula (seed 4) from Hyderabad 6-2, 6-2 to clinch the title. Tournament Secretary Vijay Naidu and AITA Referee Siva Kumar Marada gave away the prizes. Vishal Landge announced the names of the winners. Vijay Naidu proposed a vote of thanks.
