“Value-based society is foundation of a strong nation. A Swayamsevak is one who voluntarily dedicates himself to the service of the nation and society. Wearing the RSS uniform symbolises not just attire but discipline, values and years of dedication”, said Brajkant Ji, Prant Pracharak of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) while addressing a grand Hindu Sammelan in Keshav Basti, on Saturday.
The programme inaugurated with Gaau Pujan, Tulsi Pujan and Kanya Pujan, reflecting India’s age-old respect for nature, womanhood and motherhood. This was followed by lighting of the lamp and floral tribute to Bharat Mata. Brajkant Ji emphasised over Indian culture and said that cultural values awaken a sense of duty, dignity and compassion in individuals. He clarified that such Hindu Sammelan are not against anyone, but aim to unite a fragmented society divided by caste, language and sections.
He stressed that education
without values weakens society, while value-based education strengthens nation-building.
He urged families, especially mothers, to connect children with cultural and social activities alongside modern education. The programme concluded with a collective Bharat Mata Aarti, creating an atmosphere filled with patriotism and unity. Cultural performances followed by a grand Bhandara organised for thousands of attendees. On the occasion, Advocate General of Madhya Pradesh High Court, Prashant Singh, Jagadguru Swami Raghav Devacharya Ji, Dr Pushpraj Patel and other social leaders were present. The entire Keshav Basti participated enthusiastically, turning the event into a celebration of culture, unity and national spirit.
