Young woman commits suicide by hanging

 

 

 

 

A 23-year-old woman, Divya Raghuvanshi, committed suicide by hanging at her parental home in Govindpura on Friday. The incident occurred just a day after her husband dropped her off and left with their two-year-old son. No suicide note was found at the scene. Raghuvanshi, a resident of Shankar Nagar, had been married to Rajendra Raghuvanshi for five years.

 

According to family sources, the husband arrived on Thursday, left her at her parents' house, and took their child back to Raisen. On Friday morning, she was found hanging in the bathroom and was declared brought dead at a nearby hospital. The victim’s father, Harinarayan Raghuvanshi, informed police that his son-in-law had expressed a desire to terminate the marriage. “He left her here and forcibly took the child, which we believe led our daughter to this extreme step,” he stated.
