A total of 150 excellent candidates who did excellent job in creating election-relation awareness, were felicitated during the 16th National Voters' Day at Sanskriti Theatre, Cultural Street with significant formal proceedings and democratic fervor. Organised by the Electoral Literacy Club, Jabalpur, following the directives of the Election Commission of India, the event aimed to strengthen democratic consciousness and electoral participation. Deputy Solicitor General of India, Suyash Mohan Guru graced the event with his presence as chief guest. District Legal Aid Officer, BD Dixit was present as special guest in the program which was presided over by Ashish Kumar Shukla, Senior Technical Director, NIC and Nodal Officer, NIC MP e-Court Project.
 
Program Coordinator Dr Pramod Srivastava formally welcomed the guests with "Song of India" saplings and badges featuring the 16th National Voters' Day theme: "My India, My Vote." Deputy Solicitor General, Suyash Mohan Guru emphasized that voting is not merely a right but a fundamental constitutional duty, asserting that the strength of a democracy is directly proportional to the engagement of an informed and active electorate. The special guest provided a detailed exposition on the legal and ethical dimensions of the franchise, categorizing electoral awareness campaigns as a contemporary necessity.
 
Senior Technical Director, Shukla elaborated on the specialized technologies developed by the Election Commission of India to facilitate voter convenience and encouraged to adopt ethical voting practices. Later, the assembly took a formal Voter’s Pledge led by the dignitaries. Dr Srivastava highlighted the exemplary coordination by Shri Ram College, which has consistently managed district-level events involving multiple institutions.
