Thirty-five years after studying art together, fourteen close friends from the Indradhanu Artist Group are reuniting to host their second major exhibition, ‘Aarambh-2-2026’, at the Jawaharlal Darda Art Gallery. The exhibition will be inaugurated on January 30 at 5 pm by Dr Kishor Ingle, Director of Art, Maharashtra State. The inauguration ceremony will feature various guests, including Dr Vishwanath Sable, Dean of the Government Chitrakala Mahavidyalaya, and Pandurang Sonawane, Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Railways.
 
The show features 14 artists including Anagha Salpekar, Arvind Ghorpade, Ashok Pardhi, Damodar Arvikar, Ghyanshyam Deshmukh, Vijay Jaiswal, Prashant Hardas, Shrikant Vekhande, Rajendra Sakalle and others showcasing abstract, portrait, landscape and creative compositions across various media. A key attraction of the event is a talk by Rajendra Mahajan on the aesthetics and realism of Ajanta Caves frescoes. The exhibition is free for all and will remain open from January 30 to February 1, between 11 am and 8 pm.
