THE Nagpur Chapter of The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI) will be organising its annual seminar on the contemporary and forward-looking theme ‘AI as Catalyst for the Gen Next CMA’ on January 31 at Hotel Centre Point from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm. The seminar aims to highlight the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the evolving landscape of the Cost and Management Accountancy profession, especially in strategic finance, business analytics, forecasting, and digital capability building for the next generation of CMAs.
 
The inaugural session will be graced by eminent dignitaries from leading public sector undertakings and the media, including Vishwanath Suresh, Chairman & Managing Director, MOIL, Vijay Phansikar, Editor, The Hitavada, Indra Dev Narayan, Chairman & Managing Director, Mineral Exploration & Consultancy Limited (MECL), CMA Bikram Ghosh, Director (Finance), Western Coalfields Limited, Surendra Singh Kshatriya, Director (Finance), MECL, Rakesh Tumane, Director (Finance), MOIL and CMA Harendra Pandey, Director (Finance), Maha Metro.
 
The seminar will feature three in-depth technical sessions, focusing on the practical and strategic application of AI in finance and management like ‘AI for Strategic Finance and Business Analytics’, ‘Historical Tracking to AI-Driven Strategic Forecasting’ and ‘Building Digital Capability Through AI’. The seminar is being held under the leadership of CMA S Rajat Naidu, Chairman, CMA Nitin Alshi, Vice Chairman, CMA Manish Pandey, Secretary, CMA A K Behera, Treasurer, CMA Anil Verma, Director of Studies, CMA P S Patil, PD Committee Chairman and members of Organising Committee of ICMAI Nagpur Chapter.
