Night temperatures across Chhattisgarh are expected to fall by 2–3°C over the next 24 hours, followed by a gradual rise of 2–3°C during the subsequent three days. After this brief fluctuation, no major change in weather conditions is likely across the region, indicating that overall winter conditions will remain stable. According to the Meteorological Centre in Raipur, dry weather prevailed throughout the state during the past 24 hours, with no rainfall recorded in any district. In Raipur, the maximum temperature was recorded at 30.0°C, which was slightly above normal, while the minimum temperature stood at 18.3°C, also above normal for this time of the year. Humidity levels remained high during the morning at around 80 percent and dropped to about 52 percent by evening. The sky stayed partly clear with light cloud cover, and winds remained calm during most of the day. Across the state, Jagdalpur recorded the highest maximum temperature at 31.1°C.

Ambikapur reported the lowest minimum temperature at 11.9°C, making it the coldest place in Chhattisgarh during the observation period. Other cities, including Durg, Bilaspur, Pendra Road, and Mana Airport, also experienced warm daytime temperatures and cooler nights, which is typical of late January weather in the region. The weather department has forecast that dry conditions are likely to continue across Chhattisgarh in the coming days. However, dense fog may occur in isolated pockets, especially in northern parts of the state on January 29 and 30. These foggy conditions could reduce visibility during early morning hours and may affect road travel. For Raipur city, hazy conditions are likely on January 30. The maximum and minimum temperatures in the city are expected to remain around 30°C and 17°C respectively. Overall, while a brief fall in minimum temperatures is expected over the next 24 hours, a gradual rise will follow over the next few days. After this short change, weather conditions are expected to remain stable across the state.
