DELHI Public School, Mihan emerged overall champions of the Nagpur District Sub-Junior Athletics Championship with 103 points.
The two-day tournament, organised by Nagpur District Athletics Association concluded on Friday. Nav Maharashtra Krida Mandal stood second with 91 points and BKCP with 74 points stood third.
Himanshu Bhoyar of AAI Foundation finished first in the Under-12 boys 300 metre race in 52.19 seconds.
While in the U-12 girls 300m race, Swara Hiwase of Rising Sprinter, came first in 45.88 seconds.
In the Under-14 300 metre race, Sundram Kumar of BSS (40.20) and Lavanya of Nav Maharashtra (44.56) finished first in boys and girls categories respectively.
HTKBS Hingna javelin throwers clinched the first spot in Under-14 boys and girls categories respectively. Tanu Dhurve won in girls with a throw of 16.41 metres and Kartavya Kale won in boys with a throw of 29.22 metres.
HTKBS’ Gaurav Mangam won the U-14 boys high jump with a jump of 1.41 metre. Bhavan’s MTPC, Mouda’s Sharvari Thakre (1.35m) won the girls U-14 high jump.
HTKBS’ Vikrant Upadhya (1.20m) won the gold medal in U-12 boys high jump.
In U-10 broad jump, Sandipani’s Aayushi Patil won the yellow metal with a jump of 1.60 metres while in boys, Punit Shendre of Aakar came first with 1.89 metres.
